QHSE coordinator

P. Lindberg Industri A/S is a more than 160-year-old company that has evolved from a local smithy to a modern manufacturing company that serves large industrial customers, where the wind sector in particular is strongly represented. Quality is an important part of everyday life and P. Lindberg Industri is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and EN 1090. In addition, we work actively with the working environment, external environment, sustainability, green transition and the UN’s global goals. The company is growing rapidly and has recently moved to new premises in Gram, where they employ approximately 40 employees. We are now looking to fill a newly created position:

QHSE coordinator – Auditing – ESG – further develop the quality system

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for the QHSE activities within quality, environment, health and safety and sustainability. Your primary task is to ensure that the company meets the high expectations of customers and continuous improvements on the parameters that are important to internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you will further develop the current quality management system into an integrated management system that ensures certification of environmental and occupational health and safety management according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

You will have a highly visible and cross-organizational role, working with process mapping, clarification of external requirements, documentation, implementation of new routines, training of employees and contact with certifying authorities. Therefore, we expect you to have natural poise and be able to ensure the execution and completion of tasks.

As QHSE coordinator you will lead internal audits, assist in customer audits, handle non-conformances, ensure effective handling of complaints and implement corrective actions. You will have a strong influence on daily QC activities, both internal and external (e.g. NDT of welded structures). You will also be an important part of ensuring and documenting FAI/FAT/SAT activities on the most advanced equipment.

You will also be responsible for managing the internal health and safety organization, conducting workplace assessments, managing and preventing accidents and generally incorporating safety into everyday tasks. The ESG area is becoming increasingly important and you will coordinate work with ESG reporting (carbon accounting etc.) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Depending on your background and skills, you will be involved in other compliance-related tasks such as GDPR, customer contracts, risk analysis, etc.

You have a relevant professional education that gives you the necessary ballast to do the job – preferably as a blacksmith, industrial technician or equivalent and subsequently a theoretical education such as production technologist and then at least 2-3 years of work in the QHSE area. You have shown through your efforts that you are passionate about the tasks and are motivated by being able to make a difference. You are expected to have good written and spoken language skills and naturally express yourself in Danish and English.
